and management philosophies into the third grade classroom. Planned and carried out unit on “Animals We Know” which
focused on animal characters in literature and their characteristics. Studied
animals and their lifestyle in all subjects for three weeks which included language arts, math, science, and social studies. Using centers, whole group instruction and small group collaboration; incorporated
appropriate curriculum throughout all lesson plans. Took advantage of “teachable” moments” and created positive
relationships with students. Oversaw all lesson plans, assessments, and scheduling during allotted time for twenty-six students. Helped cooperating teacher with enrichment and assistant. August 2007 - Present
